Palakkadan Matta (Unda and Vadi Rice)
Known for its unique and rich taste, the Palakkadan Matta has been a staple food item in Keralite households. Nutritious and rich in fibre, it is best suited with traditional Kerala dishes like sambhar, pachidi, rasam, etc. Kayal provides two varieties of the palakkadan matta rice – the Palakkadan Matta Unda Rice and the Palakkadan Matta Vadi Rice which are sourced directly from the farmers. We use only the finest quality rice which ensures a velvety fluffy texture once cooked.
